In this hands-on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) class, you’ll learn simple and effective self-defense techniques to escape grabsbreak free from pins, and stay safe under pressure.

Women and teens ages 12 and up who want practical self-defense skills in a safe, supportive training environment, whether you’re brand new to martial arts or simply looking to build confidence at your own pace.

About the Women’s Self Defense Class Instructor

This class is taught by Eva K.

Eva is a black belt under Professor Pedro Sauer and has been studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over ten years.

Eva teaches both the kids and adult classes, including the women’s Jiu-Jitsu program, at One Spirit Martial Arts (OSMA) in Herndon, VA.

This event was previously held in December 2025 and is usually scheduled around once per month.
